Schools
Higher Aviation Education
In order to become an air traffic
controller for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), you must attend one of
the following thirteen Collegiate Training Initiative (CTI) Schools. These
select schools have been approved to teach the curriculum needed to be
considered a qualified candidate in the CTI program. To find out more about the
CTI program and the qualifications to complete the program,
Please consult the individual school's websites for more information on program
curriculum and recommendation procedures. Each of the thirteen schools has their
pros and cons, but each of them offers the pathway to employment with the FAA.
The Manager of the Collegiate Training Initiative Program is Ms. Sherry Reese (sherry.reese@faa.gov).
